FAQs

What age groups do you work with?

I work with athletes from U12 through to senior professionals, adjusting the teaching to meet each player where they’re at. The Coach-Me Film Room suits any age. Team-Work usually starts at U12. POA Private and POA Pro Runs are for advanced and professional athletes only.

What level of experience is required?

Beginners don’t need to be skilled—they just need to be willing to learn.

Intermediate and advanced athletes will be challenged appropriately.

POA Pro Runs are strictly for current or aspiring professional players.

How do I book a session?

All bookings are handled directly through the site. Once you choose a service (Coach-Me Film Room, Team-Work, or POA Private), you’ll receive a confirmation email with preparation details.

What should my athlete bring to training?

Basketball shoes, water, a towel, and a mindset ready to work.

For Team-Work sessions, bring a basketball if you have one.

For POA Private, I provide everything needed.

What’s the difference between your services?

- Coach-Me Film Room → Detailed game breakdown + report card + Zoom session.

- Team-Work → Group skill development, decision-making, and gameplay.

- POA Private → Elite, highly personalised 1–4 athlete session + post-film review.

- POA Pro Runs → Invitation-only professional pickup runs (filmed).

The full comparison table is available on the website.

Do you train both boys and girls?

Yes. POA is fully inclusive. I work with boys, girls, and athletes of all playing backgrounds at every age level.

How often should my athlete train?

As a guide:

- U12–U14 → 1–2 sessions per week outside team training

- U16–U18 → 2–3 sessions per week depending on schedule

- High-performance athletes → 3–5 structured development sessions across on-court + film

Ultimately, consistency matters more than volume.

Do you provide feedback or progress updates?

Yes. Every athlete receives real-time guidance.

Coach-Me Film Room and POA Private include detailed breakdowns athletes can revisit.

Parents are welcome to reach out for broader development updates.

Where are sessions held?

Most sessions run in Melbourne’s eastern and northern suburbs, with venues listed at booking.

POA Pro Runs are held at private, invitation-only locations for athlete privacy and performance integrity.

Are your programs suitable during both the season and off-season?

Absolutely. Training intensity is adjusted to your schedule. During the season, sessions focus on decision-making, confidence, and refinement. In the off-season, we build deeper habits, skill foundations, and game impact.

Each one teach one.
